Serving only the best falafels since 1999

MR FALAFEL started as a small business running from a kiosk (pictured above) situated directly in the entrance of New Shepherd's Market. For many years, we sold one style of wrap currently known as the classic falafel wrap. After being forced to give up our premises and move into our current one next door, we were faced with the dilemma of what else to serve besides one wrap and drinks. Our new premises were considerably larger with space for a seating area. Initially, we tried to turn MR FALAFEL into just another cafe, but soon realised that our customers were interested in one thing, and one thing only, which is our authentic tastes. Being in a city, like London, we needed to offer our customers a true combination of authentic tastes in the wrap they have always loved. The humble falafel wrap has always been served alongside a certain combination of salads, yet you would usually eat loose falafels with other savoury items such as olives, feta cheese, makdous  (pickled baby aubergines) and even Ful Medames (boiled broad beans flavoured with garlic lemon juice and cumin). Yes, you would find falafels on the same table with the previously mentioned items amongst a few other things, but never together in the same wrap. Being in London, we thought, 'why not?' To our surprise, the new wrap combinations started selling from day one! Including our most adventurous one, the Supreme and it's twin, the Supreme Plus. Who thought that falafel would taste so good served with feta cheese, olives and avocado, not to forget the fresh mint leaves and pomegranate syrup? We have never looked back since then, and furthermore, we also committed ourselves to being a vegetarian and vegan eatery. MR FALAFEL now has a menu with twelve different wraps with different combinations, all of which are vegetarian and mostly vegan.
